The Berlin Permacomputing Meet-Up is a semi-regular meeting to discuss the practice of Permacomputing in and around Berlin, Germany.
Our meetings are convivially hosted by offline.place.
Even if we are extremely serious and feel some urgency about our work, our meetings generally have a low-key, participation-oriented format.
We strive to include interested participants of all knowledge and experience levels. Some of us are rather "techie" but non-nerd-identified and perma-curious people are especially welcome.
NEXT Meeting No Upgrades: The Pleasures and Possibilities of Refusal16. March 2025 at 19:00 There was a plan to have a special presentation for this meet-up but due to some unavoidable last-minute issues, we have had to postpone it. However, we still would really like to see some people and discuss some of the new ideas and projects we've encountered since our last session. Please join us for a low key discussion around the practice, problems and culture around constant "upgrades" and what happens if we refuse. We will also have a general discussion of permacomputing things of recent interest. |
This site serves primarily as a place to announce upcoming events and archive past meetings.
If you want a deeper dive into the general philosophy and practice of Permacomputing, please check out the wiki.
We will add an RSS feed soon so you can get updates and announcements automatically.
